Profile
About Silinder Pardesi
Silinder Pardesi was born in Coventry and began singing as a child in Sikh gurdwaras. In the early 1980s he founded the Pardesi Music Machine, one of the first British Asian bands to mix Punjabi and Hindi music with reggae, dance, R&B and rock.
The band's album Pump Up The Bhangra sold tens of thousands of copies, and Shake Yer Pants followed with even stronger sales. In 1994 the Pardesi Music Machine became the first bhangra act to play Glastonbury. Silinder has gone solo since then, releasing more than 17 albums, and his 2008 track Hey Soniye with Rishi Rich became a big hit. His work has earned several gold discs and a Punjabi Cultural Award for promoting Punjabi culture in Britain.
With decades on stage, Silinder knows exactly how to lift a UK wedding crowd. His set suits families who grew up with British bhangra.

Thank you Jeeven & Party events for organising Dholies
Well I have been in touch with Jeeven who organises events for party central and he has been great help. His customer service is excellent, he has been very patient and helpful with finding a package best suited for my requirements even there were few change and chop about timing & Dates. Jeeven is a very friendly guy and easy to communicate with as well as very quick in responses. So thank you Jeeven for organising Dholies for me.

Booking is for the future 01/08/26, but feel very confident and organised sorting this out before time! Will come back and leave a review after the event, but Sanj has been very active in helping with the booking, thank you
