Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Party Central collects when you visit our website, ask for a quote or make a booking, how we use it and what your rights are.

1. Who we are

Party Central is a trading name of Booking Central Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15496869). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used.

You can contact us at [email protected] or on 0800 410 1414.

2. What information we collect

  • Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your event, such as the date, venue, type of event, guest numbers and what you are looking for.
  • Booking information: quotes, booking confirmations, payment status and our communications with you by phone, email, WhatsApp or through our website.
  • Technical information: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and how you found us, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and arrange your booking.
  • To share the details of your event with suitable Partners so they can confirm availability and provide the service.
  • To take deposits and payments, send booking confirmations and reminders, and manage your booking up to and after the event.
  • To handle questions, complaints and any problems with a booking.
  • To improve our website and services, understand which pages and services people use, and measure our marketing.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations and to protect our business from fraud and misuse.

4. Our legal bases

We use your information because it is needed to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform a booking (contract), because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business and keeping it secure (legitimate interests), because the law requires us to (legal obligation), and, where we ask for it, because you have agreed (consent), for example for non-essential cookies or marketing messages.

5. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed:

  • Partners: the independent suppliers who provide your service receive the details they need to confirm and deliver your booking.
  • Service providers: companies that help us run our business, such as our booking and customer management platform, email and messaging services, payment providers, website hosting and analytics. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
  • Professional advisers, insurers and authorities, where we need to for legal, tax, insurance or regulatory reasons.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, to understand how it is used and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These include Google Tag Manager and analytics tools. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can choose to block or delete them, although parts of the site may not work as well.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or booking and any follow-up, and then for a period afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements and to deal with any claims. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Keeping your information safe

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls and secure systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances;
  • ask us to restrict or object to how we use your information, and to receive your information in a portable format in certain circumstances;
  • withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on it, and opt out of marketing messages by following the link in them or by contacting us.

10. Contact and complaints

To use any of your rights or to ask a question about this policy, contact us at [email protected]. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
