Thank you Jeeven and Party Central for organising the dholis
I have been in touch with Jeeven, who organises events for Party Central, and he has been a great help. His customer service is excellent. He was very patient and helpful in finding the package best suited to my requirements, even though there were a few changes to timings and dates. Jeeven is a very friendly guy, easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. So thank you, Jeeven, for organising the dholis for me.

Party Central event planning experience
Sanj from Party Central has been absolutely brilliant in helping us find the right DJ package for our event and venue. From the very beginning, he has been so friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful. He has given us lots of great advice, not only about the DJ package but also about the venue, which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Sanj and Party Central.

What happens in a fire show?
Fire performers dance and manipulate fire using props like poi, staffs, fans and tridents. A fire show is dramatic, loud on the senses and an unbeatable finale.
Fire is almost always outdoors, on a terrace, courtyard, lawn or beach, and always with the venue's approval and a proper safety plan.
Where it works best

Summer parties

Under-the-sea themes

Weddings

Tips from our team
- 1
Get venue approval early
Many venues have fire rules. We ask the venue first.
- 2
Plan the viewing area
Guests need a clear, safe distance with a good view.
- 3
Time it for darkness
Fire looks best after sunset. Check the time of dusk on your date.
Frequently asked questions
How much do fire performers cost in Boddam?
Every booking is quoted individually, because the price of fire performers depends on availability, your date, location and travel, how long you need them and your exact requirements. Send us your date and venue and we will come back with clear options. Quotes are free with no obligation.
Can fire performers work indoors?
Rarely. Fire shows are planned for outdoor spaces, with the venue's approval and a safety plan.
How long is a fire show?
Usually a short, high-impact set. We plan it around your timings and the venue's rules.
Do venues around Boddam have sound limits for dhol or music?
Many hotels and country houses set a sound limit or an end time, and some ask for unplugged dhol indoors. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check its rules before we confirm anything.
Which postcodes around Boddam do you cover?
All of AB42, plus the rest of Aberdeenshire and nearby Hugh Town, Helston, Falmouth and Penzance.
What time will the fire performers arrive, and how will they look?
They arrive smartly dressed and on time, usually 30 to 45 minutes before the performance, so they are ready the moment you need them. We share arrival times and a contact number with you before the day.
Are your fire performers vetted and insured?
Yes. Every partner is vetted by our team before they are listed. They hold public liability insurance and certificates, carry out risk assessments, and any electrical equipment they bring is PAT tested. Venues often ask for these documents and we can supply them.
How far in advance should I book fire performers?
For weddings and summer weekends, book as early as you can, ideally several months ahead, as the best dates go first. We can often help at short notice too, so it is always worth asking.
Do you cover Boddam and the rest of Aberdeenshire?
Yes. We book fire performers in Boddam, across Aberdeenshire and the whole of Aberdeenshire, for venues, homes and outdoor events.
