Thank you Jeeven and Party Central for organising the dholis
I have been in touch with Jeeven, who organises events for Party Central, and he has been a great help. His customer service is excellent. He was very patient and helpful in finding the package best suited to my requirements, even though there were a few changes to timings and dates. Jeeven is a very friendly guy, easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. So thank you, Jeeven, for organising the dholis for me.

Party Central event planning experience
Sanj from Party Central has been absolutely brilliant in helping us find the right DJ package for our event and venue. From the very beginning, he has been so friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful. He has given us lots of great advice, not only about the DJ package but also about the venue, which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Sanj and Party Central.

What are mirror and disco ball characters?
Mirror characters are performers in costumes covered in small mirrored tiles, from head to toe. Under event lighting they throw reflections across the room, and up close guests see themselves in the costume, which makes for brilliant photos.
Options include mirror men, mirror ballerinas, mirror musicians and disco ball heads. They roam, pose and interact without words, and suit disco and 70s parties, winter themes, launches and any room with good lighting.
Where it works best
Disco and 70s parties
Mirror ball heads on the dance floor.
Winter wonderland
Icy sparkle for a frosted theme.
Launches
Reflective, futuristic walkabout.
Christmas parties
Sparkle as the lights go down.
Arrivals
A dazzling welcome at the door.
Festivals
Night-time walkabout that catches every light.
Tips from our team
- 1
Point a light at them
Mirror costumes come alive under spotlights or moving heads. Brief your lighting team.
- 2
Plan for photos
Guests love selfies in a mirrored costume. Place characters near your photo area.
- 3
Allow for visibility
Full mirror suits can limit the performer's view. We agree routes and keep walkways clear.
Frequently asked questions
How much does mirror men cost in Overton on Dee?
Every booking is quoted individually, because the price of mirror men depends on availability, your date, location and travel, how long you need them and your exact requirements. Send us your date and venue and we will come back with clear options. Quotes are free with no obligation.
Do mirror characters talk?
Usually not. They interact through movement, poses and gestures, which adds to the mystery.
Do they need special lighting?
They work in any room, but a spotlight or moving light makes the reflections spectacular.
Can a mirror character play music?
Yes. Mirror violinists and other musicians are available. Ask us about combining music and walkabout.
Do venues around Overton on Dee have sound limits for dhol or music?
Many hotels and country houses set a sound limit or an end time, and some ask for unplugged dhol indoors. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check its rules before we confirm anything.
Which postcodes around Overton on Dee do you cover?
All of LL13 and SY12, plus the rest of Wrexham County Borough and nearby Hugh Town, Helston, Falmouth and Penzance.
What time will the mirror men arrive, and how will they look?
They arrive smartly dressed and on time, usually 30 to 45 minutes before the performance, so they are ready the moment you need them. We share arrival times and a contact number with you before the day.
Are your mirror men vetted and insured?
Yes. Every partner is vetted by our team before they are listed. They hold public liability insurance and certificates, carry out risk assessments, and any electrical equipment they bring is PAT tested. Venues often ask for these documents and we can supply them.
How far in advance should I book mirror men?
For weddings and summer weekends, book as early as you can, ideally several months ahead, as the best dates go first. We can often help at short notice too, so it is always worth asking.
Do you cover Overton on Dee and the rest of Wrexham County Borough?
Yes. We book mirror men in Overton on Dee, across Wrexham County Borough and the whole of Wrexham County Borough, for venues, homes and outdoor events.
