About Foji Gill
Foji Gill is a Punjabi singer, writer and producer born in Coventry and raised in Birmingham. He started singing at eight, trained with classical musicians Soni Atwal and Surinder Khan, and spent ten years with the bhangra dance group Nachda Sansaar, performing on the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998 and on BBC shows.
He launched his solo career in 2009 with Bondhl Gai and rose quickly in 2010 with Dafa Hoja, featuring Miss Pooja, and Bruah. Bruah became the first original bhangra single by a solo artist to top the Official Asian Download Chart, and he spent twelve weeks in the top three. His debut album Dafa Hoja was followed by tracks such as Pumbeeri and Sher Di Poosh.
Foji knows the UK wedding circuit well. His high energy bhangra and strong vocals suit mehndi nights and receptions where the crowd wants traditional Punjabi dance music.

So managed to a booking for my daughter’s engagement party! Was happy to discuss needs with Sanj. Booking is for the future 01/08/26, but feel very confident and organised sorting this out before time! Will come back and leave a review after the event, but Sanj has been very active in helping with the booking, thank you
