About Master Saleem
Master Saleem comes from Shahkot in Punjab and was trained from the age of six by his father, the singer Ustad Puran Shah Koti. He earned the name Master Saleem after performing at seven, and released his first album Charkhe Di Ghook in 1990 when he was just ten.
He has a powerful, emotive voice that suits Punjabi folk, Sufi and devotional music as well as Bollywood. His film songs include Mast Kalandar in Heyy Babyy, Tashan Mein in Tashan, Maa Da Ladla in Dostana, Aahun Aahun in Love Aaj Kal and Humka Peeni Hai in Dabangg. He also has a large body of devotional recordings.
At a wedding Master Saleem can move from soulful Sufi songs to full volume bhangra and Bollywood. That range makes him a great fit for a mixed audience that wants a proper live singer.

So managed to a booking for my daughter’s engagement party! Was happy to discuss needs with Sanj. Booking is for the future 01/08/26, but feel very confident and organised sorting this out before time! Will come back and leave a review after the event, but Sanj has been very active in helping with the booking, thank you
