About Sardara Gill
Sardara Gill is best known as a lead singer of Apna Sangeet, the Birmingham band formed in 1984 that became one of the first big names on the UK bhangra scene alongside Alaap and Heera. The band held platinum discs by the early 1990s and won Best Asian Band at the UK Asian Pop Awards in 1991.
With Apna Sangeet he recorded dance floor favourites such as Mera Yaar Vijaweh Dhol, Nach Paya Mutiara and Toon Nach Toon Nach, and his song Soho Road, named after the famous Birmingham street, was performed on BBC Network East. He has continued to record as a solo artist and still releases new music today.
Sardara and Apna Sangeet grew up playing weddings, functions and melas, so a live booking is exactly what they know best. Expect proper traditional bhangra, boliyan and a set that brings back memories for anyone who grew up with UK bhangra.

Thank you Jeeven & Party events for organising Dholies
Well I have been in touch with Jeeven who organises events for party central and he has been great help. His customer service is excellent, he has been very patient and helpful with finding a package best suited for my requirements even there were few change and chop about timing & Dates. Jeeven is a very friendly guy and easy to communicate with as well as very quick in responses. So thank you Jeeven for organising Dholies for me.

Will come back and leave a review after the event, but Sanj has been very active in helping with the booking, thank you
