What do acrobats perform at events?

Event acrobats perform floor-based acts of strength and balance: hand balancing, partner lifts, human pyramids, tumbling and strongman routines. Unlike aerial acts, most need no rigging at all, just a clear, level space.

They can perform a short showpiece on stage, hold striking poses as a welcome act, or work through the crowd between sets. Acrobatic duos and comedy strongmen are especially popular at awards nights and summer parties.

Where it works best

Welcome acts
Striking balance poses as guests arrive.
Awards nights
A showpiece to open the ceremony.
Circus themes
Strongmen and tumblers for a big-top night.
Launches
Feats of strength around a reveal.
Summer parties
Outdoor shows on a lawn or terrace.
Family days
Comedy strongmen that everyone enjoys.

Tips from our team

1
Give them a clear, level area
Acrobats need a flat, stable floor and room to move. Uneven ground limits the act.
2
Check the ceiling for lifts
Partner lifts and balances add height. Tell us about low ceilings or chandeliers.
3
Use a stage or riser
A raised area means guests at the back can see the whole act.

Frequently asked questions

How much do acrobats cost in Lincoln?

Every booking is quoted individually, because the price of acrobats depends on availability, your date, location and travel, how long you need them and your exact requirements. Send us your date and venue and we will come back with clear options. Quotes are free with no obligation.

Do acrobats need rigging?

Usually not. Most acrobatic acts are floor-based and need only a clear, level space.

Can acrobats perform outdoors?

Often, yes, on firm level ground in dry weather. We agree a plan B with the venue.

How long is an acrobatic show?

Usually a short, high-impact set, or several short spots through the evening. We plan it around your timings.

Which venues near Lincoln can hold a large Asian wedding?

On our list, Lincolnshire Events Centre (up to 1200 guests) can take 400 or more guests. Tell us your venue and numbers and we will plan acrobats around the space.

Do venues around Lincoln have sound limits for dhol or music?

Many hotels and country houses set a sound limit or an end time, and some ask for unplugged dhol indoors. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check its rules before we confirm anything.

Which postcodes around Lincoln do you cover?

All of LN1, LN2, LN5 and LN6, including North Hykeham, Skellingthorpe, North Kesteven, Witham St Hughs, Welton and Nettleham, plus the rest of Lincolnshire and nearby North Kesteven, Newark-on-Trent, New Ollerton and Gainsborough.

What time will the acrobats arrive, and how will they look?

They arrive smartly dressed and on time, usually 30 to 45 minutes before the performance, so they are ready the moment you need them. We share arrival times and a contact number with you before the day.

Are your acrobats vetted and insured?

Yes. Every partner is vetted by our team before they are listed. They hold public liability insurance and certificates, carry out risk assessments, and any electrical equipment they bring is PAT tested. Venues often ask for these documents and we can supply them.

How far in advance should I book acrobats?

For weddings and summer weekends, book as early as you can, ideally several months ahead, as the best dates go first. We can often help at short notice too, so it is always worth asking.

Do you cover Lincoln and the rest of Lincolnshire?

Yes. We book acrobats in Lincoln, across Lincolnshire and the whole of East Midlands, for venues, homes and outdoor events.
