What does a mermaid performer do?

Mermaid performers wear full mermaid tails and costumes and pose, interact and create photo moments. Some perform on a set or by a pool, and some in water where the venue allows it.

They are the centrepiece of under-the-sea themes and a magical surprise at pool parties, summer events and launches.

Where it works best

Pool parties
The perfect focal point by the water.
Under-the-sea themes
The heart of the theme.
Welcome moments
Greeting guests on a set.
Launches
For beauty, drinks and summer campaigns.
Summer parties
Something different for the team.
Family events
Magical for children and adults.

Tips from our team

1
Check the pool rules
In-water performances depend on the venue's rules and pool safety. We check first.
2
Build a set
A shell, rock or seaside set makes the mermaid the photo moment.
3
Light it blue
Blue and teal uplighting completes the underwater feel.

Frequently asked questions

How much do mermaids cost in Southam?

Every booking is quoted individually, because the price of mermaids depends on availability, your date, location and travel, how long you need them and your exact requirements. Send us your date and venue and we will come back with clear options. Quotes are free with no obligation.

Can mermaids swim at our venue?

Sometimes. It depends on the pool, safety and the venue's rules, which we check before confirming.

Which venues near Southam can hold a large Asian wedding?

On our list, Stoneleigh Park (up to 2000 guests), Sports Connexion (up to 1000 guests), IXL Events Centre (up to 750 guests) and British Motor Museum (up to 600 guests) can take 400 or more guests. Tell us your venue and numbers and we will plan mermaids around the space.

Do venues around Southam have sound limits for dhol or music?

Many hotels and country houses set a sound limit or an end time, and some ask for unplugged dhol indoors. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check its rules before we confirm anything.

Which postcodes around Southam do you cover?

All of CV47, including Bishop's Itchington, Stratford-on-Avon, Long Itchington and Stockton, plus the rest of Warwickshire and nearby Leamington Spa, Warwick, Daventry and Rugby.

What time will the mermaids arrive, and how will they look?

They arrive smartly dressed and on time, usually 30 to 45 minutes before the performance, so they are ready the moment you need them. We share arrival times and a contact number with you before the day.

Are your mermaids vetted and insured?

Yes. Every partner is vetted by our team before they are listed. They hold public liability insurance and certificates, carry out risk assessments, and any electrical equipment they bring is PAT tested. Venues often ask for these documents and we can supply them.

How far in advance should I book mermaids?

For weddings and summer weekends, book as early as you can, ideally several months ahead, as the best dates go first. We can often help at short notice too, so it is always worth asking.

Do you cover Southam and the rest of Warwickshire?

Yes. We book mermaids in Southam, across Warwickshire and the whole of West Midlands, for venues, homes and outdoor events.
