So managed to a booking for my…

So managed to a booking for my daughter’s engagement party! Was happy to discuss needs with Sanj. Booking is for the future 01/08/26, but feel very confident and organised sorting this out before time! Will come back and leave a review after the event, but Sanj has been very active in helping with the booking, thank you

Excellent customer service from Jeevan and the Party Central team. Made an enquiry on Saturday and everything confirmed by Monday morning! A professional service making me feel at ease and confident for the Dhol player booked. Pricing is also very reasonable!

What do stilt walkers do at an event?

Stilt walkers are costumed performers on stilts who tower over the crowd, greet guests, pose for photos and bring a sense of theatre to any space. They are one of the easiest ways to make an arrival feel like an event.

They can be styled to almost any theme, from 1920s Gatsby glamour to circus, winter and under-the-sea looks, and they work indoors with enough ceiling height or outdoors on level ground.

Where it works best

  • Welcome and arrivals

Greeting guests at the door or on the red carpet.

  • Drinks receptions

Roaming and interacting while guests mingle.

  • Launches and activations

Pulling a crowd and getting people filming.

  • Festivals and fun days

    Walkabout performances throughout the day.

  • Themed parties

    Gatsby, circus, winter or under-the-sea.

  • Christmas parties

Festive characters that tower over the room.

Tips from our team

  1. 1

    Check the ceiling height

Indoors, stilt walkers need generous ceiling height and clear doorways. Tell us the room and we will check.

  2. 2

    Mind the floor

Level, dry, non-slip floors are best. Grass and gravel need checking in advance.

  3. 3

Use them for the photo moment

A stilt walker beside your step-and-repeat or entrance sign makes every photo better.

Frequently asked questions

How much do stilt walkers cost in Farnham?

Every booking is quoted individually, because the price of stilt walkers depends on availability, your date, location and travel, how long you need them and your exact requirements. Send us your date and venue and we will come back with clear options. Quotes are free with no obligation.

Can stilt walkers perform indoors?

Yes, with enough ceiling height and clear doorways. We check the venue before confirming.

Can stilt walkers hand out drinks or flyers?

Yes. Many clients use them to hand out drinks, favours or branded items.

Which venues near Farnham can hold a large Asian wedding?

On our list, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire (up to 500 guests) and Old Thorns Hotel (up to 500 guests) can take 400 or more guests. Tell us your venue and numbers and we will plan stilt walkers around the space.

Do venues around Farnham have sound limits for dhol or music?

Some do. Froyle Park: Dhol players may only play for 10 minutes here, with a maximum of two dhol players. Plan one tight, high-energy set. Tell us your venue and we will check its rules before we confirm.

Which postcodes around Farnham do you cover?

All of GU9 and GU10, including Upper Hale, Weybourne, Hog Hatch, Heath End, Waverley and Tongham, plus the rest of Surrey and nearby Aldershot, Farnborough, Waverley and Camberley.

What time will the stilt walkers arrive, and how will they look?

They arrive smartly dressed and on time, usually 30 to 45 minutes before the performance, so they are ready the moment you need them. We share arrival times and a contact number with you before the day.

Are your stilt walkers vetted and insured?

Yes. Every partner is vetted by our team before they are listed. They hold public liability insurance and certificates, carry out risk assessments, and any electrical equipment they bring is PAT tested. Venues often ask for these documents and we can supply them.

How far in advance should I book stilt walkers?

For weddings and summer weekends, book as early as you can, ideally several months ahead, as the best dates go first. We can often help at short notice too, so it is always worth asking.

Do you cover Farnham and the rest of Surrey?

Yes. We book stilt walkers in Farnham, across Surrey and the whole of South East, for venues, homes and outdoor events.
