What is a Holi?
Holi is the Hindu spring festival of colours, celebrated by throwing coloured powder, music and dancing. In the UK it is popular with communities, universities and companies, usually outdoors.
We supply DJs and mobile DJ trucks, dhol players, Bollywood and bhangra dancers to lead the dancing, and staging and sound for bigger events.
Where it works best
Step 1
A DJ or DJ truck as the centre of the party
Step 2
Dhol players for the colour throws
Step 3
Dancers to lead the crowd
Step 4
Staging and sound for larger crowds
Tips from our team
- 1
Protect the kit
Colour powder gets everywhere. We plan covers for equipment and agree the colour area with your venue.
- 2
Time the colour throws
Counting down to a colour throw on the dhol makes the best photos and video.
- 3
Give guests white clothes
White T-shirts make the colours pop and give everyone a souvenir.
