What is a winter wonderland theme?

A winter wonderland theme is all white, silver and ice blue: frozen living statues that come to life, ice queens in masked and unmasked looks, LED performers and champagne walkers lit like snow.

It is perfect for Christmas and new year parties, winter weddings and January events that want something more elegant than tinsel.

Where it works best

  • Step 1

    Ice statues at the entrance

  • Step 2

Champagne walkers serving the welcome drink

  • Step 3

Ice queens roaming during the reception

  • Step 4

An LED or aerial moment after dinner

Tips from our team

  1. 1

    Statue reveal

Guests assume the frozen statues are decor until they move. Place them where everyone walks past.

  2. 2

    Dim the lights for LED

LED costumes are at their best in a darker room, so plan them after dinner.

  3. 3

    Book early

December is the busiest month of the year for themed acts. Start conversations in the summer.

Frequently asked questions

Do venues around High Bickington have sound limits for dhol or music?

Many hotels and country houses set a sound limit or an end time, and some ask for unplugged dhol indoors. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check its rules before we confirm anything.

Which postcodes around High Bickington do you cover?

All of EX37, including North Devon, Torridge, Chittlehampton and Kings Nympton, plus the rest of Devon and nearby Barnstaple, South Molton, Winkleigh and Bideford.

When should we book winter entertainment?

As early as you can. December Fridays and Saturdays are the first dates to go, often months ahead.

Do frozen statues stay still for the whole event?

They work in sets with breaks, which we plan around your running order so there is always something happening.

Still have questions?

Tell us about your event and we'll come back with options.
