About A.S. Kang
Avtar Singh Kang, known as A.S. Kang, was born in Kultham village in Punjab and moved to the UK after finishing his education, where he first played kabaddi before turning to music. In 1976 he became the first UK solo Punjabi artist to release a record, and he was also the first UK Punjabi artist to record in India with the Gramophone Company.
His song "Gidhian Di Rani" is one of the biggest hits in the history of Punjabi music and is still a wedding essential. Other favourites include "Ashiq Tera", "Lambharan Di Nau" and his Desi Boliyan and Valeti Boliyan recordings. He has worked with producers including Sukshinder Shinda and K.S. Narula.
A.S. Kang brings the authentic folk sound that older guests love. He is ideal for weddings, anniversaries and cultural events where tradition matters.

Thank you Jeeven & Party events for organising Dholies
Well I have been in touch with Jeeven who organises events for party central and he has been great help. His customer service is excellent, he has been very patient and helpful with finding a package best suited for my requirements even there were few change and chop about timing & Dates. Jeeven is a very friendly guy and easy to communicate with as well as very quick in responses. So thank you Jeeven for organising Dholies for me.

Booking is for the future 01/08/26, but feel very confident and organised sorting this out before time! Will come back and leave a review after the event, but Sanj has been very active in helping with the booking, thank you
